Studio AKA’s New Promo Highlights ITV Mobile Channels
Studio AKA’s new promo for mobile TV, 'ITV For Your Mobile' directed by Grant Orchard, features an animated character who loves watching ITV programmes at home, but is unaware that he can catch all his favourite ITV moments on his mobile whilst he’s out and about.
The spot takes the character on a fanciful trip through his world, each unexpected scene transition punctuated by reminders of his favourite ITV programmes. The reminders reveal themselves as a series of thought bubble television sets featuring the actual ITV footage that he’s missing. His solution? He pulls out his mobile phone and texts the ITV mobile number to see his ITV programme updates whenever and wherever he wants.
A combination of XSI, After effects and Flash animation was employed by Orchard to create a charming film, that truly captures the delights of channel hopping.
