Evolution 2 LCDs break new ground in picture quality

Oxygen DCT has announced the arrival of its next generation LCDs.
User tests of the first units off the production line have reported that the Evolution2 Series give pictures comparable to, or better than, CRTs, breaking new ground in LCD picture quality.
The new 24" Evolution2 LCD from Oxygen DCT has received unbelievably outstanding user feedback from top facilities and broadcasters who have given it the ‘thumbs up’ after recent evaluations.
The Evolution2 Series is the next generation of an already popular line of high quality broadcast LCD displays. Available on 17", 23", 24" and 46" sizes, these LCDs produce outstanding images based upon new image processing technology from Gennum. The VXP image processor gives better detailing and motion interpretation through a high quality co-processor with a 10 bit de-scaler incorporating multi-directional edge and adaptive three field vertical motion detection, giving a truly next generation image, described as being as go od as most CRTs, breaking new ground in image quality.
The 17", 23", 24" and 46" sizes Evolution2 displays also include a host of new features which makes them suitable for an even wider usage. The key new features are a 16 channel audio de-embedder with built-in stereo monitoring speakers, user adjustable volume control, RGB Bias allowing users to adjust the black level in each colour component and LCD backlight level control.
The Evolution2 Series are equipped with unparallel features, such as multi definition inputs; front panel controls, simple to use on screen menus, user adjustable safe area generators,, centre markers, H/V delay and tally lights. There are also seven user programmable remote control ports for power On/Off, input selection, markers, tallies, H/V delay and more.
The Evolution2 Series, utilising the latest technology from Gennum, is a collection of ground-breaking LCD displays. Coming in 4 sizes at a surprisingly low cost, these units are going to set new standards in the broadcast industry and revolutionise expectations of picture quality.
