Streaming and digital media conference and exhibition announced

Streaming Media Europe has published its programme, delivering on its promise of a conference that provides attendees from the enterprise, broadcast, media and entertainment, government and education verticals the latest details on the successful implementation of streaming and digital media solutions.
Launched as a direct response to European interest in streaming, video on demand, IPTV, podcasting and IP video technologies, Streaming Media Europe takes place on 12 & 13 October in London and aims to replicate the successful formula of the event's sister shows on the east and west coasts of the US.
"Streaming and IP video technologies are enabling real b2b and b2c business models in today's market." Comments Dan Rayburn, the Conference Chair and Executive Vice President of StreamingMedia.com. "We've positioned this event where information and instruction is most needed: at the intersection between the worlds of business, content and technology. By focusing on the latest technology advances in the delivery of video over any IP device, we're going to give our delegates real-world information that can practically apply in their organisation today to help move their business forward. Our aim is practical: what you learn at Streaming Media Europe, you should be able to take back and apply in your own organisation right away."
The Programme supports this statement with 6 conference tracks entitled: Industry Trends and Development; Tools and Technology; Enterprise; Streaming in Practice; Streaming for Corporate Communications; Streaming in Government, News and Education; and Exploring the Potential.
Speakers, all acknowledged experts, are sourced from throughout the industry, all are practitioners and many are end-users who actually manage streaming projects on a global scale within their organisation.
The opening Keynote Address on 12 October will be given by Paul Costelloe, Head of Corporate IT at Prudential plc and responsible for the company's webcasting operations.
Streaming Media Europe takes place on 12 & 13 October at London's Copthorne Tara Hotel in Kensington. A full day of Master Classes precede the conference on 11 October and delegates are invited to select their own sessions, from both conference and Master Classes, creating a bespoke agenda that suits their own interests.
Registration for Streaming Media Europe is open at www.streamingmedia.com/europe and local organisers, Information Today Ltd, can be contacted on T +44 (0)1865 327813 E: [email protected]
