Brian Paisley joins Quantel

Quantel have announced the appointment of Brian Paisley as Director of Broadcast.
Paisley takes up his post with Quantel on December 1, joining from Omnibus Systems.
In his new role at Quantel, Paisley will be responsible for leading the company’s continued thrust into the heart of the broadcast market, centred on its new generationQ systems.
Paisley said: “I was extremely impressed when I first saw Quantel’s generationQ systems earlier this year. It was immediately obvious that Quantel had cracked the biggest technological challenges facing the broadcast and news businesses – scalable server technology, genuine journalist integration, consistency of interface across every graphics and editing application, and excellent systems integration hooks. Such an approach has been an ideal since my days at the BBC, and I’m therefore delighted to have the opportunity to help realise its massive potential in the marketplace, and also to be able to contribute to its ongoing development.”
