DOCUMENTARY DIRECTORS’ GLASGOW MASTERCLASS

CHANNEL 4 Nations and Regions have announced a Documentary Directors’ Masterclass, to take place at the Lighthouse Conference Suite in Glasgow on September 19.
Producer and director Paul Watson will discuss his work with Alan Hayling, Editor for Channel 4 Nations and Regions, as part of the regular Channel 4 series of Masterclasses.
Watson is one of Britain’s best known documentary makers. He produced ‘The Family’ in 1974, the first fly on the wall style documentary serial, which is now in the National Archive.
Watson’s recent projects include Channel 4’s ‘A Wedding in The Family’, ‘Malcolm and Barbara…A Love Story,’ which won three RTS awards, and ‘Sarajevo – A Street Under Siege’, which was broadcast daily on the BBC.
