IFC’S EIGHTH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS
THE Irish Film Commission (IFC) are celebrating their eighth anniversary by organising an Open Day on September 30.
The event will celebrate both cinema history and the different facets of the centre’s activities – from silent films to classic Hollywood movies and from archive presentations to sneak previews of contemporary titles.
The films shown will include, ‘Big Night’, ‘Delicatessen’, ‘Babette’s Feast’ and Ang Lee’s ‘Eat Drink Man Woman’.
All screenings are free and tickets can only be collected on the day. The box office will open at 10.00am and tickets will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
