S4C APPOINT DIRECTOR OF CORPORATE AFFAIRS

S4C, the public service broadcaster for Wales, have appointed Alun Davies as their next Director of Corporate Affairs.
At the moment Davies is Head of Public Relations with the UK Atomic Energy Authority in Harwell. He has previously worked with Hyder, Oxfam and the Worldwide Fund for Nature.
Between 1987 and 1989 Davies was the National President of the National Union of Students (Wales), and he learned Welsh while studying for a BSc degree in Political Science at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth.
Davies will take up his post at S4C on November 13.
