Bergen University install Chyron equipment

Bergen University, Norway, have installed Chyron equipment as part of a new installation to improve efficiency and ease of operation at the facility.
A variety of Freeway routers (SDI, AES, Analogue and Timecode), together with a DualStreamer (Internet streaming encoder) were installed during August 2002 by Video 4 A/S - Chyron's distributor in Norway.
The installation consists of 12 edit suites for video and audio post production, three studios for production and video conferencing/remote lecturing, together with a virtual studio - with the Pro-Bel routers at the heart of the functionality.
As Bjarne Økland, Project Manager, Video 4 A/S explained: "Video 4 were involved in this project from a very early stage and was pleased to propose Chyron as the best solution for the customer's requirement."
