Thriving facilities house Brighton TV announces expansion

Now the largest facilities house in Sussex, Brighton TV has gone through a recent expansion programme and now offers a raft of new equipment and services.
Late last year Brighton TV expanded its premises, creating five more edit suites and Serviced Office Space. You can now rent desk space in newly decorated offices with onsite support and access to a high profile facilities house in the heart of Brighton.
Brighton TV now also has a brand new High Definition online edit suite. The suite is fully spec’d to handle uncompressed HD video. They can offer cross-edit platform solutions to producers who are working with Avid and/or Final Cut Pro systems. Their experienced team can guide you through to programme completion in SD and HD. Final Cut Pro with AJA Kona deliver powerful and precise editing tools that work with virtually any format, from SD DV and HDV to fully uncompressed HD video.
Brighton TV has a range of Sony HDCAM & HDV camera and peripheral equipment allowing them to provide a total solution from filming through to online & dub. HD production often requires a 5.1 surround sound mix. Their ProTools Dubbing audio suite is set up for 5.1 surround sound mixing with AC-3 monitoring, encoding and decoding to provide a complete HD post production package.
With the combination of these upgrades, the Machine Control Room can now provide transfers and down conversions from High Definition HDCAM to Digital Betacam and many other formats. They have a Snell & Wilcox ARC150 Aspect Ratio Converter to ARC between all Standard Definition formats, complemented by state of the art Tektronix monitoring equipment. This enables them to provide accurate quality assessment reports before delivery to broadcasters and provide audio and video legalising services.
