BUENA VISTA AND ITV SIGN NEW FILM AGREEMENT

BUENA Vista International (BVI-TV), the distribution arm of Walt Disney Television, have concluded a new agreement with UK broadcaster ITV for their 1999 slate of theatrical releases.
Director of Programmes for ITV David Liddiment said: “We are delighted to secure such high profile, big-name films for ITV. There is something for everyone, from the blockbuster ‘Sixth Sense’, to family films such as ‘Inspector Gadget’, to the thought provoking and critically acclaimed ‘The Insider’. I am convinced they will provide a real film feast for our viewers who will be seeing the very best in major Hollywood Entertainment.”
Making the announcement, Doug Miller, Vice President and General Manager of Sales, BVI-TV, said: “In an increasingly competitive market place we believe that the key to success is broadcasting premium high quality entertainment that delivers a unique viewing experience to viewers.”
