WOSU-TV installs Titan Automation system

After a two-year product and systems evaluation, WOSU-TV, the PBS affiliate for the Columbus market, is installing a new Titan Automation system from Sundance Digital.
Titan is the keystone of expanding their master control located at the Fawcett Centre at Ohio State University. The station, owned by Ohio State University, airs on Channel 34.
In conjunction with Titan master control automation, WOSU will be building a new 10,000 square foot HD facility in downtown Columbus at the Center for Science and Industry.
This remote studio will originate broadcasts such as public forums and political debates, house postproduction and producers, and as part of the Science Museum, expose children and adults to the latest broadcast technology.
Titan is a highly-scalable automation system able to control many hundreds of channels in a facility or remotely manage playlists at multiple geographically separated locations.
