CHICKEN RUN TIPPED FOR TOP AWARD

SMTV’s ‘Chicken Run’ and ‘Teletubbies’ are among this year’s nominations for the British Academy Children’s Film and Television Awards.
A host of children’s TV and film favourites are set to go head to head in the BAFTA Children’s Awards following an announcement of the award nominations.
Now in their fifth year, the awards have attracted a number of entries from leading names in children’s film and television, with over 188 different programmes being submitted for consideration.
The BBC, Channel 4, Disney Channel, ITV, S4C and Nickelodeon have each selected their top programme to go forward to the kid’s jury.
In association with the LEGO Company, the award ceremony will take place on Sunday, November 12, at the London Hilton, Park Lane.
