LAST CALL FOR CELTIC FESTIVAL ENTRIES

THE CELTIC Film and Television Festival (CFTF) are welcoming entries for their 22nd Festival in Truro, Cornwall to be held from March 28 to 31, 2001.
Organisers say that while there has been an high level of material submitted to date, the closing deadline for entries to the 2001 CFTF is November 10.
The CFTF is an annual event that celebrates the best of Celtic film, television, radio and new media, and also promotes the diversity of Celtic Cultures by encouraging meetings, showcasing the best work and awarding excellence.
Entries from the Celtic countries are accepted on any subject. Entries from outside these countries are welcomed where the subject matter relates to aspects of life and culture, past, present or future of a Celtic country.
The first New Media Award will be presented next year, an award that recognises the developments in the industry awarding innovation, creativity and interactivity.
Due to a high level of entries, this year’s documentary section has been expanded to include three strands, Documentary Factual, Feature Documentary and Arts Documentary.
