S4C JOURNALISM SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS

S4C have announced that Catrin Bryn Roberts and Ian Edwards are the winners of this year’s Journalism Scholarships.
S4C’s Journalism Scholarships, awarded annually, enable two post-graduate students to take a year-long course in Journalism at the University of Wales College, Bangor.
Catrin Bryn Roberts from Machynlleth has a degree in History and Welsh History from University College in Aberystwyth. She said: “I hope to pursue a career in journalism within the media and my sights at the moment are set on broadcasting. The S4C Scholarship has already proved valuable and, of course, I’m extremely grateful.”
Ian Edwards from Carnarfon has a degree in History from University College, Bangor, he said: “I’m very pleased to have won this Scholarship and I’m grateful to S4C for giving me the opportunity to develop to be a worthy journalist."
