Engenius Prompting's T-2000 PromptBook provides versatile laptop teleprompting

The T-2000 PromptBook converts your laptop computer into a versatile TFT Flat-Panel teleprompter/autocue and has been sold to broadcasters internationally.
Simply install the prompting software programme on your laptop computer that your station's IT department supports, then place the notebook into the prompter mounting pod assembly, and you are ready to go.
The Promptbook permits normal operation of your laptop, yet provides the ability to project a reverse mirror image for direct eye-line viewing as a prompter.
The system can be used with any ENG/EFP camera, including camcorders and video phones.
For the news journalist on the road, you can still run your newsroom application such as ENPS or Avid on the laptop as normal, to receive or send stories back to your news editor. Or you can simply create or edit your story using your favourite word processor and then simply import the script into the prompter programme.
The presenter can scroll the speed of the prompter text using the A-1649 Wireless Hand Held Mouse controller which is omni directional, up to 30 metres from the receiver. Alternatively, the A-1646 Hand held Trackball can be supplied, which comes with a 5 metre cable that connects to your laptop.
By using standard off-the-shelf computer products, replacing a speed control is easy should it get lost or broken. They are available at PC stores anywhere around the world.
The T-2000 system comes with a fold down, glass hood assembly and offers an economical means to prompting, utilising state-of-the-art technology.
