OXFORD based Solid State Logic (SSL) have reported an increase in sales to the Indian sub-continent.
Based in Mumbai, Sunny Super Sound recently upgraded their existing SSL equipment by adding increased storage capacity to their OmniMix integrated digital audio and video production system, installed in a Dolby Surround mixing room. An additional 16 channels of audio processing have also been supplied for the studio's two SL 4000 series consoles.
Empire Audio, also based in Mumbai, have added a further eight channels to their SL 4000 series console in the facility's surround-sound film mixing theatre. A second SL 4000 series console has been installed at Empire Audio for music recording.
SSL's Regional Sales Manager Andy Duffield, said: "The Indian market is characterised by a high level of technical awareness and a prodigious output. In such a demanding environment it's particularly gratifying when long-standing customers return to SSL to help build on their success."
