DB BROADCAST APPOINT STUDIO MANAGER

CAMBRIDGESHIRE based dB Broadcast have appointed Phil Snuggs as their new Studio Manager.
Prior to joining dB in February 2000 as Project Manager, Snuggs spent more than 20 years with the BBC, starting work in 1977 as a design draughtsman on capital projects. He subsequently became an installation supervisor with BBC Consulting and Projects, and an engineer with BBC Training, Transmission, and Consulting & Projects Resources. In 1997 he was appointed Project Manager within BBC Consulting and Projects Resources.
Among the major projects that Snuggs has been responsible for at the BBC are the delivery of three network presentation suites in Northern Ireland, the refurbishment of the world's largest Central Technical Area at BBC Television Centre in West London and the installation of a Japanese translation area at Television Centre which enabled Japanese viewers to gain access to British TV News.
