Granada logs with FORscene in second project

Video streaming and editing specialists, Forbidden Technologies has announced the completion of a second project with Granada Media using Forbidden's FORscene web-based platform for logging.
The project, ‘Extreme Ghost Stories’ is Granada's new drama reconstruction series, which will be aired on ITV1 this year.
Based on the success of FORscene's use on 'Trust Me I'm a Holiday Rep',
Granada took the decision to use the platform again.
With ‘Extreme Ghost Stories’, Granada took the use of FORscene one step further by using it to manage the entire process, compressing, uploading and logging the footage in-house.
"Forbidden Technologies' logging solution and high level of customer service made exactly the right impression", said Ruth Glaser, production manager of ‘Extreme Ghost Stories’. "With high volumes of footage, conventional logging techniques are stretched, but through its collaborative, easy to use functionality FORscene's logging capability has proven to be extremely helpful."
As with the previous project, Granada's comments were fed into the planning of the upgrade path of the logging interface.
FORscene enables all clients to have immediate access to the most up to date version via the web.
Over 140 man-hours of content were logged for ‘Extreme Ghost Stories’ in Autumn 2005.
