FILMMAKING IN IRELAND SEMINAR ANNOUNCED

THE DEPARTMENT of Journalism in Colaiste Dhulaigh, Dublin, will be presenting a National Seminar on Filmmaking in Ireland on November 25.
The seminar titled 'Film In Ireland' will focus on Film Direction and Production, Writing for Film, Documentary Film Production, Film Animation, Short Film Production and Digital Film Animation.
'Film in Ireland' will be presented by a panel of six professionals who bring their knowledge, ideas, experience and expertise that they have gathered during their careers to the seminar.
The panellists have developed a body of work and experience which they will share with the seminar delegates in a workshop setting that will include presentations, screenings and discussions.
During the seminar BAFTA Award winning director, Damien O’Donnell and award winning documentary film director, Liam McGrath will make presentations. The seminar programme includes workshops including one run by award winning journalist and screenwriter, Aodhan Madden.
While the full seminar fee is £30.00, the fee for students and the unemployed is £20.00.
