Jason King joins Pharos Communications

Pharos Communications has announced a new addition to its management team, based at the company's headquarters in Reading.
Jason King joins as Product Manager for the Mediator broadcast process control system. He reports to Technical Director Spencer Rodd.
King commenced his broadcast industry career in 1988 at Pro-Bel, where he worked as a Test Engineer, progressing to Systems Engineer. In 1992 he joined Symbol Technologies as Team Leader of its European repair centre and in 1995 moved to Quantel, advancing from Product Support Engineer to Development Engineer and then Server-Applications Specialist.
He joins Pharos from Omneon Video Networks where he worked in pre-sales and post-sales support.
Spencer Rodd commented: "Jason's appointment comes at a very significant time in the evolution of Mediator which we are developing into an enterprise-wide media management system."
Jason King said: "Mediator Enterprise integrates Media Asset Management, Browsing and Workflow control. With Tasks presented on a clear web-based GUI, Users are provided with the tools necessary to complete the operation. I am excited to be involved with such a dynamic product and look forward to realizing the potential of Mediator systems."
