GRANADA TO BOOST OUTPUT FOR THE NETWORK

GRANADA Media’s commitment to grow network production in the regions has been strengthened with several key management changes.
The changes see John Willis appointed as Managing Director of United and LWT Productions, while Marcus Plantin, currently LWT’s Director of Programmes, will become Director of Programmes for both LWT and United Productions. They will both work closely with the production heads at Anglia and Meridian.
Steve Morrison, Chief Executive of Granada Media, said: "I am delighted that John Willis has decided to come on board. Both he and Marcus have very strong creative flair and command enormous respect within the industry. Their partnership, combined with the highly successful programming centres at Anglia, Meridian and Bristol, will create a dynamic new production group.”
In his new role Willis will report to Andrea Wonfor, Executive Chair of Granada Media. Cresswell will report to Jules Burns, Granada Media’s Managing Director of Operations.
Also announced as part of the management changes John Cresswell has been appointed as Director of Operations for Granada Media.
