REGUS LONDON FILM FESTIVAL TO GO ON TOUR

THE HIGHLIGHTS of the Regus London Film Festival are to be screened throughout several towns and cities in the UK.
Immediately after the London closing night gala, a selection of films from the festival will be taken for screening across the country at Odeon cinemas, which are part of the ‘British Film Institute at Odeon’ scheme along with other major independent cinemas.
The screenings will be accompanied by educational talks for the audience and special events for schools. In some cases directors and stars will be in attendance to speak about their work.
Adrian Wootton, Director of Regus London Film Festival, said: “As in previous years, the tour programme is drawn from every strand of the Regus London Film Festival, a large proportion of which will never be available to be viewed in any other context. The tour is intended to give a snapshot of World Cinema Production, as well as highlighting some of the new restorations from the world’s archives.”
Many of the screenings will be pre-release Galas, and others will be rare opportunities to see the best of international cinema unlikely to be shown again.
The tour will visit 14 cities from late November to early December.
