HHB LAUNCH NEW MD PORTADISC RECORDER

LONDON based HHB Communications have announced the launch of their new portable MD recorder, the Portadisc.
The new unit is fully featured with a flexible range of powering options. Based around a professional-grade MD drive, the Portadisc has balanced microphone inputs with phantom power, a six-second pre-record buffer and five configurable user set-ups. Uniquely for a MD portable recorder, the Portadisc also includes a USB interface for direct to computer connectivity.
HHB Communications currently supply products, including a range of CD recorders, to UK broadcasters including Virgin Radio, Pearson Television, Granada Television and the BBC, which alone has more than 250 units in daily operation.
The company have also been supplying an increasing quantity of Digidesign Mac and PC based editing and production systems for broadcast applications, including recent sales to BBC Cardiff and Beat 106FM in Glasgow.
HHB is a UK distributor of both Sony and Dolby professional audio products.(GB)
