Strongroom announces two key appointments

As part of its on-going expansion, Strongroom has appointed Matt Ward to the position of technical manager and Linda Dixon to the post of studio booker/receptionist at its Shoreditch facility.
Matt Ward, a graduate from the University of Salford’s Department of Applied Acoustics and Audio Engineering, began his career as a service engineer at HHB Communications. More recently, he spent five years with the Metropolis Group where he was employed as a technical support engineer.
Linda Dixon, a Leeds University graduate with a BA in Cultural Studies, joins Strongroom from Sarm West Studios where she held a similar position.
“I am looking forward to getting involved and booking lots of great bands, and in doing so helping to maintain Strongroom’s reputation as a fantastic studio,” she said.
Nina Mistry, Strongroom General Manager, added: “We are delighted to welcome Matt and Linda to Strongroom. Both has exactly the right experience and knowledge of the industry that we need. Strongroom is constantly evolving and it’s great when we can fill the vacancies this expansion creates with people of Matt and Linda’s calibre.”
