Arqiva helps launch Asian news and entertainment channel
Arqiva, formerly Inmedia, has delivered the successful debut of Asian news and entertainment channel DM Digital TV.
Arqiva is providing satellite space segment and uplink services for the Manchester-based channel, which broadcasts across the UK and South Asia.
“Arqiva’s comprehensive range of broadcast services mean it can meet all technical requirements and budgets,” said the founding director of DM Digital TV, Dr Laiquat Malik. “DM Digital TV is for everyone interested in Asian life and culture and Arqiva’s cost-effective services allow us to deliver it to as wide an audience as possible.”
Arqiva’s Head of Broadcast Sales John Bozza said: “DM Digital TV is an essential broadcast service both in the UK and in South Asia. It also adds significant drive to Manchester’s growth as the UK’s latest multi-cultural broadcast centre.”
