Dayang wins major automation contract from Fubon, Taiwan

Fubon Television has placed an order for Dayang's D3-Air 2.0 master control system.
The US$2.6 million contract is Dayang's second-largest project in Taiwan and will enable the automation of two new programme channels.
An intellectual monitoring manager within D3-Air 2.0 integrates control and status management into a co-ordinated system permitting fully tapeless data exchange. D3-Air uses high-reliability fibre-based delivery and is configured for easy system expansion.
Dayang MagicWall multiscreen controllers in the MCR will allow multichannel video and audio-level monitoring to be achieved with greater efficiency and flexibility than traditional CRT-based monitor stacks. MagicWall enables simultaneous display of up to 24 video channels on a single 1600 x 1200 screen. Designed for use in broadcast control rooms and transmission suites, MagicWall offers flexible configuration and easy connectivity including SDI inputs and dual display feeds. When used with one or more solid-state screens, MagicWall provides a compact and flicker-free low-radiation alternative to CRTs. It also eliminates the risk of bulb failures inherent in rear-projection displays.
Fubon Television is part of the Fubon Group which is active in a wide range of business services.
The group includes the Fubon Charitable Foundation, established in 1988 to provide medical, emergency and disaster assistance, and to sponsor private service-oriented societies.
