South Korea’s MBC Network selects Leitch’s Videotek TVM-950HD

The Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) of Seoul, South Korea, has agreed to purchase 23 TVM-950HD Multi-format, High-Definition SDI monitors from Leitch’s Videotek test and measurement product line.
MBC will employ the TVM-950s for high-definition video and advanced audio signal analysis at MBC Seoul and nine of its affiliate stations, covering every major metropolitan area in South Korea.

We also believe integration time into our customers’ facilities will be expedited because the TVM950HD’s intuitive controls and menus make the unit particularly easy to use.”
With 100% digital signal processing technology, the TVM-950HD provides accurate, stable display of single or multiple Waveform, Vector, Gamut, Audio, Picture, Timing and Data Analyser functions in quadrant or full-screen views. The new TVM has environmentally friendly illuminated front panel controls and an ultra-quiet cooling system, with a modular platform design for easy field upgrades. Options include HD/SD Eye Pattern, additional HD/SD-SDI, SD-SDI or analogue composite inputs, eight channels of analogue, AES/EBU plus embedded audio processing, with CineSound Surround display, Dolby Digital and Dolby E decoding. Most of MBC’s 23 units include the Dolby option.
