IMAGINE GRAPHICS AT VIDEOFORUM

COMPUTER display technology and digital video systems specialists, Imagine Graphics, are showing a number of hardware and software products on their stand at February 2001’s VideoForum Exhibition.
Imagine have said that the products are ideal for use by video professionals in a wide range of industry sectors including retail (PoP and VoD), public information, leisure and entertainment.
The range includes the ReelTime Server, which demonstrates unprecedented MPEG-2 video and audio playback quality and control. Up to 16 channels can be synchronised to frame-accuracy, or media placed independently on a channel by channel basis, showing the complete flexibility and control.
The Firefly Server from Visual Circuits, for whom Imagine Graphics are sole UK distributors, is a scalable MPEG-2 video server. Just 1U High, Firefly delivers 1,2 or 4 channels of digital video and audio and is 1U in height.
Also on display will be the Multi-channel HD Server featuring HDFocus, a HDTV MPEG-2 digital video decoder card. Providing high definition video playback at 1920 x 1080i resolution, it has six-channel surround sound (Dolby AC3) and up to four independent HD playback channels.
