GRASS VALLEY GROUP APPOINTS NEW TRAINER

GRASS Valley Group have appointed Tom Dearman to the new role of Principal Lecturer in their EAME training and technical support group based in Slough, UK.
Dearman has 30 years experience in television technical training. He started his broadcast career with Ampex, and has worked in technical training for Abekas and Sony.
Dearman said: "I am delighted to be joining Grass Valley Group, a company that are at the cutting edge of the transition to digital broadcasting technologies. I am looking forward to working in such a challenging environment and hope to make a significant contribution in the area of training to the organisation's future success."
Initially he will be focusing on providing engineering training courses for the Kalypso Video Production Centre. (CD)
