SISLink selects Hamlet Adept

SISLink is to implement 28 Adept A700WVA multi-format waveform monitors in new outside broadcast (OB) trucks.
The satellite broadcast leader is to install the revolutionary compact test & measurement devices in 16 OB trucks for ITV, a further eight for ITN and four of its own.
The Hamlet Adept delivers digital and analogue video monitoring in native SDI with simple conversion to composite 625 and 525 for multi-standard measurement and monitoring capability including line select, bow tie and gamut indication. The 1U device also boasts an integral on-screen display (OSD) and a built-in generator.
“SISLink is building more streamlined trucks and needs its vital test & measurement devices to fit,” said SISLink’s Satellite Facilities Manager Derek Wilkinson. “The Hamlet Adept’s OSD monitoring means we don’t need a separate cathode-ray tube and it is a cost-effective and space-efficient means of ensuring we continue to deliver our clients’ signals reliably.”
