SKILLSET BOOST CAREERS AT PRODUCTION SHOW

SKILLSET will be offering their highly one to one careers advisory sessions for the third year running at The Production Show as part of their ‘Learning Zone’.
The sessions will be heavily subsidised offering individuals a chance to expand their career options with high quality and relevant advice.
Professionally qualified advisors with many years media experience will be used to help individuals plan their careers during these sessions. Such advice can often cost up to £250 when not subsidised. The sessions are available at just £25 if booked prior to the show. All those booking a session will also receive 50 per cent off Skillset’s newly published ‘A Career Handbook for TV, Radio, Film, Video and Interactive Media’.
Dinah Caine, Chief Executive of Skillset, said: “Our career advice sessions have been such a success in the past that we’ve increased the number of advisors available and have publicised them much more this year. This way a lot more individuals should be able to take advantage of this opportunity to gain the knowledge of how to develop their career. There is definitely a need in our industry for this type of specialist one-to-one careers advice.”
Sessions will cost £30 if booked on the day. There will also be information on training courses, funding and qualifications available at Skillset’s ‘Learning Zone’.
