Leading production and post conglomerate backs Quantel HD vision

Grace & Wild has become the first company in the US to own a total of seven eQs, four at Postique, its postproduction boutique division and three at its hdstudios division.
The company acquired its first eQ, and the first to be sold in the US, in 2002.
“We went with Quantel early on to address the future of HD and to work with multi resolution material in the most efficient manner available,” said Paul DeMars, Director of Technical Services for Grace & Wild’s Broadcast Advertising Group. “The eQ is diversified enough that every operator can be an expert in their niche, be it creative cutting, graphics or compositing.”
For more than a decade-and-a-half Grace & Wild has depended on Quantel technology.
From its first purchase of the Mirage, to the Paintbox, Harriet, Henry Infinity, and a handful of Editboxes, the company has partnered with Quantel as it expanded its scope and services – growing to nine divisions and specializing in all aspects of production and postproduction.
