5D TO EXTEND COLLECTION OF 5D MONSTERS

PIONEERING effects developers, 5D, have announced that they are to dramatically extend their collection of 5D Monsters image-processing effects with the development of over 100 new effects.
The new 5D Monsters have been identified through consultation with digital artists worldwide and, when added to the current 350 5D Monsters collection, will position 5D one of the leaders in image-processing tools.
Discreet high-end compositing and editing systems will be among the first platforms supported by the new 5D Monsters, together with 5D Cyborg, 5D’s new integrated effects environment.
Marc Dando, Sales and Marketing Director at 5D, said: “5D Monsters add enormous creative potential during post-production, and boost the capability of the host platform to deliver ever more elaborate visual effects. As part of our on-going strategy to keep pioneering in visual effects and to maintain 5D as a crucial creative resource, we are also evaluating support for several other platforms to.”
New 5D Monsters under development will cover a diverse range of organic, atmospheric, environmental and camera effects, and will also include a raft of production tools aimed at boosting productivity and workflow in post production. (CD)
