Colorado PBS station installs OmniBus automation system in new content delivery centre
OmniBus Systems, award-winning provider of comprehensive automation and content management solutions to the broadcast industry, has announced that KBDI-TV/12, a PBS member station serving Denver and surrounding communities on the Colorado Front Range, is installing the OmniBus System to control three digital channels and facilitate archiving of broadcast material.
"In providing a true IT-based infrastructure with intuitive graphical interfaces, OmniBus is doing something no other company has achieved," said KBDI-TV/12 Chief Engineer Richard Eversley. "From the user's standpoint and from a technical perspective, OmniBus Systems has developed a fluid and powerful solution for content management. OmniBus automation provides a very contemporary interface and unique monitoring control at the fingertips. It's very flexible, scalable, and simple, and it requires fewer screwdrivers and less hands-on support than conventional broadcast systems."
