AVITEL ANNOUNCE MOVE TO ESSEX

AVITEL Electronics, one of the longest established suppliers of equipment to the broadcast, facilities and media industries have announced that, after more than 20 years in South London, they have decided to move to a more appropriate location.
As a result, Avitel will relocate on April 7 to new premises in the Essex countryside, close to the Suffolk border.
Chris Pollard, Managing Director, said: “This will be quite a change from the current urban environment! We will post some photographs of the new location on the web site soon, along with views of the surrounding countryside, and will look forward to welcoming visitors in the near future.
“The move will not impact on our ability to deliver product or to provide the quality and promptness of support which our customers have come to expect from us. We look forward to this being the next stage in Avitel's rebirth.”
Avitel Electronics offer a catalogue of broadcast-related equipment covering distribution, processing, interfacing and switching of video, data and audio in both analogue and digital domains.
With the introduction of the DARTnet system for control and status reporting, Avitel can provide broadcasters with an unparalleled level of equipment automation. DARTnet, in conjunction with control software package superDART, can deliver significant savings in maintenance and operational costs by centralising and automating fault and status reporting.
Through a world-wide network of distributors, Avitel are able to supply and support their full range on a global basis.
The address of Avitel’s new office is: Avitel Electronics Limited, Berewyck Hall Court, White Colne, Nr Colchester, Essex. While, final preparations for the move are well under way, Avitel have yet to announce their new telephone numbers.
