Three BBC Scotland programmes selected to compete in the Rose d'Or Festival 2005

Three top BBC Scotland programmes – 'Still Game', 'The Karen Dunbar Show' and 'Restoration' - have been selected to compete in the international and prestigious Rose d'Or Festival in Lucerne, Switzerland, May 3-8 2005.
Ken MacQuarrie, Controller of BBC Scotland, said: "It is a fantastic tribute to BBC Scotland's talents and skills - both on and off the screen - that three of our productions have been short-listed from over 330 international programmes to take part in the renowned Rose d'Or competition this year."
More than 300 programmes were entered from 33 countries in nine categories.
Still Game will compete in the sitcom category; The Karen Dunbar Show in the comedy category; and Restoration in the arts and specials category.
Still Game is a co-production between F'n'G and The Comedy Unit; The Karen Dunbar Show is produced by The Comedy Unit; and Restoration is produced by Endemol UK - all for BBC Scotland.
