SCOTTISH SCREEN ANNOUNCE GALLOWAY CHALLENGE
SCOTTISH Screen have announced that the second Galloway Video Challenge will take place in South West Scotland in September 2001.
The event is an innovative video making competition with participants having only a maximum of 24 hours to shoot and edit a video which can be no longer than five minutes in length.
The Challenge is open to established film and video makers, students and amateur video makers from all over the world.
Participants should have an idea for a short video in any genre, but have not yet had the opportunity to make it.
Galloway invites all video makers as individuals or as teams to go to South West Scotland and put their imagination and skills to the test.
The Challenge is intended as a showcase for new and innovative video production.
