Ross Synergy MD/MD-X now available

The Ross Synergy MD/MD-X line of multi-definition production switchers is now shipping.
The MD/MD-X line offers an expanded feature set from the standard definition Synergy series, plus the ability to handle any standard definition or high definition format.
“Synergy MD and MD-X are perfect production switchers for the migration to HDTV. These are the first switchers on the market with support for both SD and HD formats at a realistic price point,” said David Ross, President of Ross Video. “Synergy MD and MD-X support all popular formats of HD and SD out of the box with a powerful, no compromises feature set. Existing Synergy customers will have access to an attractive upgrade programme.”
As with the Synergy SD series, the Synergy MD/MD-X series offers models from 1 to 4 Multi-Level Effect Systems (MLE). Features include Ross’ Ultrachrome Advanced Chroma Keyer, and extensive machine control such as VTR, DDR, Audio Mixer, Router & Server Control. The MD/MD-X series is economically priced to assist broadcasters in their transition to HD.
