MainConcept updates MPEG Pro plug-in for Adobe Premiere Pro
MainConcept, a leader in codecs and other video technology, has released version 1.0.5 of its MPEG Pro editing plug-in for Adobe Premiere Pro.
The new update adds support for Sony’s revolutionary HDR-FX1 camcorder, HD editing speed improvement, and various other enhancements and fixes.
MainConcept MPEG Pro adds native MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 editing to Premiere Pro, using smart rendering and requantizing to eliminate unnecessary rendering. The plug-in also offers real-time MPEG capturing from a variety of analog and digital devices, plus exporting to many devices.

HDR-FX1 users can capture, edit, and export back to the camera without leaving Premiere Pro – and without transcoding the material to another format for editing.”
