Manfrotto announce plans for VideoForum

Two new camera supports and two new remote controls from Manfrotto will debut at the new-look VideoForum 2005 at Earls Court 1 between January 25 and 27 2005.
The revolutionary 519 pro fluid video head, 701RC2 mini video head, 523PRO and 521PRO remote controls will showcase Manfrotto's stand (number 210) at the event alongside a comprehensive range of video camera supports and accessories suitable for DV, ENG and HD cameras up to 10.5kg.
The 519 pro fluid video head enables cameramen not only to switch easily between Mini DV cameras weighing as little as 1kg and DVCAM equipment weighing up to 10kg, but also to fine tune the balance point whatever cameras they are using, with just one head.
The 701RC2 mini video head was designed specifically to support the latest digital video equipment including Mini DV and the latest prosumer/professional compact hi definition cameras. It is ideal for set ups such as a fully equipped 3 CCD Mini DV camcorder or a spotting scope combined with a digital still or video camera for digiscoping purposes.
The 523PRO works with both Sony and Canon, LANC enabled video cameras and is the only semi-professional system available on the market that uses a professional-type wheel zoom for finer adjustment and smoother progressions. It offers three different zoom speed control buttons that can be customised to personal levels and a push auto focus button.
The top-of-the-range 521PRO is built onto a small clamp that nevertheless suits a wide range of applications, using the LANC protocol adopted by Sony and Canon Mini DV and Hi8 cameras. It is supplied with a connector coiled cord cable that extends from 25cm to 50cm.
