Copy-protected CD-Rs now available from Dischromatics

Dischromatics is now able to supply copy-protected CD-Rs, thanks to a breakthrough development by Sony DADC.
Once again, Dischromatics customers can benefit from the UK company’s close relationship to the biggest replicated disc manufacturer in Europe. Now small and large scale duplication runs can produce protected discs thanks to SecureCD-R.
Using on-line encryption software to protect Windows .exe files and specially manufactured CD-Rs to burn the data to, the protection system adds just 6MB of data to a CD but provides the very real possibility of additional revenue by ensuring that only when an original CD-R is in the drive will the program run. Dischromatics can combine this service with others they provide such as thermal printing and fast-turnaround to further enhance customer satisfaction.
As 2005 dawns for Dischromatics, SecureCD-R means that the in-house duplication business should continue growing just as fast as the replication business placed with Sony DADC.
