Hong Kong Cyber Port routes dual references with Pro-Bel Freeway

Pro-Bel has announced that Hong Kong Cyber Port has installed two Pro-Bel Freeway routers.
The installation was carried out by Pro-Bel's partner in Hong Kong, PCD Broadcast Engineering Ltd, with strong, local service commitment from Pro-Bel Asia.
Hong Kong Cyber Port, a Government-owned telecommunications facility designed to foster the development of Hong Kong's Information Services sector, chose the Freeway 32x32 SDI routers to support dual references such as PAL and NTSC in order that both requirements can be sustained simultaneously. The routers also have the facility to switch video signals from MPEG-2 playback devices in various pre-defined patterns or sequences.
Graham Pitman, Pro-Bel's CEO, said: "Hong Kong Cyber Port is an extremely forward thinking hi-tech facility providing a number of leading telecoms companies with a state-of-the-art infrastructure. I am delighted that Pro-Bel has been selected to provide part of the facility's backbone."
