TELEVISION MOBILES COMPLETE LATEST UPGRADE

TELEVISION Mobiles, one of Ireland’s leading television outside broadcast facilities company, have recently completed a major upgrade to OB4.
As part of the company’s continuing policy to equip their outside broadcast units with the latest, state of the art facilities, TVM have installed a Phillips DD35-2S series vision mixer, replacing an existing DD10 mixer. Offering up to 32 inputs, with six keyers and the added option of the R-Sat remote satellite panel, the DD35 compliments OB4’s 10-camera widescreen capabilities, further enhancing the unit’s seamless integration with their new dedicated VTR truck MVT1, which offers up to 16 digital VTR’s and full onsite editing facilities.
By choosing the DD35, TVM continues its standardisation of Phillips digital equipment, with widescreen switchable LDK series cameras and Venus routers complimenting the DD35 series vision mixers in OB3 and OB4. In addition, this policy allows TVM to combine their trucks to form a supertruck capable of offering up to 26 cameras.
