Landmark Films announces new appointment

Fast-growing Oxford-based television production company Landmark Films has made a new appointment to its production and development team.
Jennifer Beamish, who, until recently was working as development producer at Darlow Smithson, has joined Landmark Films to head up its Science division and to continue with Landmark’s bid to position itself as a major supplier of cutting edge science programming.
Beamish, a science producer for over a decade, started her career as a researcher on 'Tomorrow’s World'. In 2002 she became Head of Science Development at Tigress Productions. Her areas of specialty include Evolutionary Psychology, Human genetics and Biological Anthropology.
Beamish said: “I am fascinated by anything to do with the science of life and I believe an understanding of the world of science underpins a rich life experience. I aim to bring this philosophy to Landmark Films.”
Managing Director Nick O’Dwyer said: “Landmark Films are proud to have the opportunity to work with Jennifer, who is undoubtedly one of the brightest and talented producers in the industry. Strengthening out team with this appointment enables us to continue and broaden our science programming content.”
