Channel Television appoints new Director of Sales

Channel Television has appointed Don Miller as Director of Sales.
Miller is well known in local business circles having held senior management positions in several leading companies including the Jersey Evening Post, Channel Island Commercial Group, World Pearl and Le Riche Group (now CI Traders).
Prior to joining Channel Television, Miller was self-employed, having opened McDonald's in Jersey - the Channel Islands' first quick service restaurant - in 1995. Having sold the franchise back to McDonald's, Miller joined Channel Television in 2002 and was appointed Sales Manager in 2003.
Miller said: "I am delighted to join the Board of Channel Television at such an exciting time. Channel has always provided an excellent service to viewers, and with the large audiences we attract, our new innovative ideas have already had a significant impact. I look forward to developing the business further with the focus on getting results - for our clients."
Channel Television's Managing Director Michael Lucas said: "The advertising market in the Channel Islands is extremely competitive and we are determined to ensure we have every possible advantage to offer our customers. I am confident, that with his experience and track record, Don is the right man to head our sales team."
Miller's appointment follows previous Director of Sales Gordon de Ste Croix's move earlier this year to a newly created position as Director of Special Projects, a role that includes the development of new revenue opportunities and a greater focus on marketing and public relations activities.
