PINEWOOD SECURE BBC ONE SITCOM

PINEWOOD Studios’ new television studio complex has secured the production of the latest series of BBC One sitcom ‘My Family’.
The producers DLT Entertainment UK are shooting a new series, with an increased run of 13 episodes, using Pinewood’s new television facilities. The first series of eight half-hour programmes was shot at the BBC Studios in West London.
Executive Producer, Don Taffner Junior, said: “For our second series, we wanted to establish somewhere where we could rehearse the show on set and have both the production and writers’ offices in the same site. Pinewood provided the answer.”
Pinewood recently invested a seven-figure sum to convert one of their film stages into a 9,000 square foot fully digital television studio with spacious production offices, green rooms and luxury dressing rooms as part of the dedicated complex.
The BBC, Princess Productions and Chrysalis have already housed productions on the site. (CD)
