James Nesbitt to host IFTA 2004

The Irish Film and Television Awards, in association with eircom, have announced that acclaimed actor James Nesbitt will once again host the Irish Film and Television Awards Ceremony.
Nesbitt delighted assembled guests and a huge television audience with his witty and entertaining performance at the glittering 2003 Awards where he introduced Alison Doody, Stuart Townsend, Ralph Fiennes, Neil Jordan, Westlife, Samantha Morton, Aidan Quinn, Anna Friel and many more.
As well as entertaining his fellow stars of television and the big screen, he picked up a Best Actor in a TV Drama Award for ‘Murphy’s Law’- a category for which he is hotly tipped this year for ‘Wall of Silence’.
The Irish Film and Television Awards, in association with eircom, take place at The Burlington Hotel, Dublin on Saturday October 30 and will be broadcast on RTE One on Monday November 1.
