HaiVision announces trade-in programme for Amnis and Optivision video encoders/decoders

HaiVision Systems has announced a trade-in credit of up to 33% off the purchase price of its hai500 series codec systems for any installed Amnis and Optivision NAC-3000 and NAC-4000 series MPEG-2 encoders and decoders.
This special offer allows operators of legacy Amnis infrastructures to lower the cost and risk associated with expanding existing broadband video communication networks. Fully interoperable with the Amnis/Optivision codecs, while delivering superior audio and video quality, lower latency, and better system reliability and flexibility, the hai500 series is designed to meet the exacting needs of leading applications in boardroom conferencing, distance education, tele-medicine, security and other mission critical deployments worldwide.
Further, its field-proven design and technology and control interface integrate seamlessly with current management systems.
"The hai500 series is vital for legacy installations as it offers clients the opportunity to continue deployment plans without the need to replace their entire encoding/decoding installed base," said Peter Maag, Vice President of Marketing at HaiVision. "The hai500 series offers better overall performance and comes with a full year of warranty and support. Further, it offers a seamless migration path towards the future of broadband video communications with HaiVision's commitment to deliver a frame-compatible H.264 codec blade in 2005."
The trade-in program that HaiVision is offering now is available to all Amnis and Optivision clients and channel partners. This program allows for attractive encoder and decoder upgrades and is effective until December 31, 2004.
For further information, contact your local HaiVision sales representative, or email HaiVision directly at [email protected]. Please include AMNIS in the subject line.
