PANAMSAT'S NET-36 ADDS TO THEIR MEDIA CONTROLS
NET-36, a PanAmSat company and provider of satellite-based Internet broadcast services, and Mindport Sentriq, a leader in global media protection services, have announced that NET-36 have selected Mindport Sentriq's Digital Rights Network services, further strengthening their Digital Rights Management (DRM) services.
Sentriq's media protection solution augments NET-36's world-class internet content distribution services by expanding their protection mechanisms for rights holders, helping make Internet distribution a safe, low cost, high-margin distribution avenue.
Through PanAmSat's satellite network, NET-36 provides content producers and rights holders with the ability to deliver streaming media, at near-television quality, to DSL providers, cable head-ends, ISPs and broadband wireless providers. (GB)
