Acterna launches comprehensive test and measurement interface

Acterna, the world's largest provider of communications test solutions for telecommunications and cable network operators, has announced that its DTS 200 and DTS 330 remote test solutions for MPEG-2 transport streams have been enhanced with interfaces for Digital Video Broadcasting Terrestrial (DVB T) testing and measurement.
Acterna's DTS 200 and DTS 330 now enable pinpoint analysis of digital video transport streams transported over terrestrial broadcasts and provide the RF layer measurements that facilitate simple correlation between the physical and MPEG protocol layers.
Acterna's complete suite of broadcast and cable network testing tools and solutions will be displayed at IBC 2004 stand 8.375.
By adding DVB T testing functionality to the DTS 200 and DTS 330 systems, Acterna becomes the first provider of MPEG protocol test and measurement solutions to all industries - including satellite, cable, telco, terrestrial broadcast, and OEMs - working with the MPEG compression format.
